Models of marriage rate in the region of Murcia and their territorial differences

Abstract

In the present time exists, a great interest , in the presence of the evolution in the marriage rate which since some years ago has been experimenting deep structural changes. In the sinus of the european populations marriage are less commons and overdue, even less stable. The movement of dissafection of the population in respect to the marriage begun in Spain at the end of the seventies, with a certain delay in comparison to other european countries, and it affects in the present the totality of its regional spaces, although with different intensity depending the cultural and ideological models which characterize the inhabitants of the populations of its territories. This situation is not irreleveant to the Region of Murcia, in it, the fall of the marrriage rate mantain some characteristic features, features that I will try to analize in the present investigation. I will also try to show the diversity in the marriage behaviours in the different districts related to the matrimonial precocity and intensity.
