Abstract

Twentieth century has been the beginning of a non-finished period which is depicted by a nearly global and amazing urban growth. Because cities are mostly primal environments for more and more settlers, these urban locations are crucial to understand its influence in cultural productions, that is, artworks. This text presents samples about city fascination on artists, mostly photographers and filmmakers, and how it works as a raw material basis of their visual discourse.
