The role of the agent of local development in the creation of enterprises in the context of the local development. The valencian case.

Abstract

The work must by objective analyze the paper that carries out the agents of promotion within the Local Development, in social and cultural development , in the creation of enterprises and the contribution to the generation of wealth in the territory. For it, an applied empirical study to the agents of the consisting of Valencian Community is realised the contrast of an obtained theoretical model of published Literature and the legal norm with the functions that really the agents realise. Interviews have been realised during the first semester of year 2009 and a qualitative methodology has been applied that has allowed realising a descriptive analysis of the reality, besides analyzing the causes of its situation by means of different explanatory variables (so large of the territory, interference of the politicians and labour and professional profile of the agents). The obtained results demonstrate that the role that the agent of promotion in the social mobilization and cultural and in the creation of enterprises plays is little, although yes that performs basic functions for the implementation of the local policies of use.
