Abstract

Land management is still a little developed practice which needs a more complete codification. In this paper, the basic structure of the majority of planning schemes followed at different scales is accepted. This strategy requires three principal components: the delimitation of an area, the identification of the structures and territorial systems which can be integrated, and the distinguishment of the areas or zones that, because its diverse character, must have attributed different rate of performance. In relationship with these ideas, the experience of land management is checked in Andalusia, and we finish with the critique of the first territorial explicit model of the Autonomous Community.
