The work of the art and the art of the work

Abstract

Among many urgent task that the school has to face nowadays, there is the challenge to overcome the preconceived way students view art. Also important is to give the work of art a status according to its importance in present day world. Assuming that there is everywhere an immense gap between the academic written work and teachers that could profit it, we have chosen that particular issue as the starting point of our communication our approach is that of viewing the work of art in the historical context of the important debate that signals the passage from modernity to post modernity in Brazil That class of opinions gave birth to tension worthwhile studying and measuring in the educational act.
