La creación de los primeros balnearios argentinos a fines del siglo XIX

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to research into the geographical and historical perspectives of the creation of Mar del Plata, Argentinian first seaside resort established in the late ninetenth century in the southest of Buenos Aires province. These perspectives (the nature-society relationship and the imaginary-territory relationship) provide new aproaches to the problem of the space difussion of the cultural patterns and also provide new ways about the problem of the connections betwen space, time, society, environment and culture.
