Abstract

From mid-1960' decade, the relations between agriculture and industry experimented some important transformations. An important part of the agricultural production was utilized by the increase land-industries and by other that arise, which adopted a typical industrial position processing and commercialize, abandoning his manufacturing and rural character. This period corresponds, mainly, to a phase of national market of food integration, and of work and of raw materials with the systematic State action by well defined politics, that generated the consolidation of the national industry. With the creation of the Department I for the agriculture (producing segment of machineries, tools, fertilizing and other necessary goods for the agricultural production), was initiated a new modernization process with its technical base called of " agriculture industrialization". This process developed in a very accelerated form, and causes some changes in the agricultural productive structure, in the social relations and of work, in the rural landscape and in the use and occupation of the rural dwellings. The analysis of the rural dwellings can reveal the intensity in which the modernization process has affected the rural dynamics and the associated level of development, because the housing is the most permanent in the rural environment.
