Abstract

The new technologies of the information and of the communication and especially the corporate web site and the electronic commerce suppose a new opportunity of diffusion of image and of business for the companies and trades in an economy increasingly global. Inside this theoretical general frame, the city of Lleida is placed in a relatively outstanding position respect to national and Catalan media of utilization of these new technologies by its citizens and companies. We have fixed our attention in the companies of service and of trade of the city realizing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the penetration of the corporate web and of the service of electronic commerce.
