Abstract
The environmental history studies the interrelationships that occur between human systems and natural systems. This is a multidisciplinary research field whose basic objective is the apprehension of the historical roots of our current ecological crisis. This paper presents the essential features of the environmental historiography and reports some digital sources for the study of American and Canadian environmental history.Downloads
