Use of digital turistic cartography in Colombia: an initial approach

Tourism and the Internet have established increasingly close relations. This article evaluates the use of digital cartography by organizations or companies that promote tourism through the web in Colombia. Identification was performed tourism pages on the Internet that most use digital maps at departmental level, identifying which ones best take advantage of these tools to promote the sites. We conclude that tourism pages departmental level not used in full extent the potential of digital cartography as a tool to generate more interaction between the user and the destination.Downloads
