Resources of Google to study the Jewish spaces in cities

Abstract

Cultural groups are responsible for the construction of a wealth of symbolic elements that are present in cities. In urban space it is possible to visualize and distinguish the various groups that build their homes, their temples, cemeteries and monuments. The city is the base space where groups perform and experience their cultural practices. The Jewish diasporas, who succeeded in different temporal and spatial scales, reveal the capacity of the Jewish cultural group to become visible in the urban space. In this article the proposed research is to use the tool as Google and Google Scholar versions in Portuguese and Spanish, with the following key words: espaços judaicos nas cidades/espacios judaicos en las ciudades. The main intention of this article is to survey and therefore an analysis of how researchers in Portuguese and Spanish, are developing a Jewish theme in their scientific work.
