Abstract

The research group CEIPAC (Centro para el Estudio de la Interdependencia Provincial en la Antigüedad Clásica), University of Barcelona, was created in 1989 under the direction of Dr. José Remesal Rodríguez. Since September 1995, the group has served own web page, which has a database today contains over 36,000 records amphora epigraphy. This article should serve as an aid to the user for a better understanding of tituli picti included in the database CEIPAC. In recent years there has been a notable increase in these records: from about 1900 copies in the nineties to exceed 5,000 copies in 2013.
