The e-government in mountain areas like support to a new mobility of the population

From the public administration there is promoted the e-Administration. This system acquires special importance in zones communicated deficiently, like those of mountain. For it, after presenting the evolution of this system in the European Union, and to know the degree of Internet utilization and the TIC, the usefulness is analyzed and the perception that the resident users have in these territories brings over of the above mentioned tools. The used methodology is basically qualitative, with personal interviews, supported on quantitative complementary information, to residents of mountain regions, in Catalonia (Berguedà and Cerdanya) and in the south of the Midi-Pyrenées (Ariège).
