Open Access in Spanish academic journals of geography

The publication of scientific production has changed considerably in recent years since the emergence of Open Access in the late 90s. Geography has not been immune to this change, and has known the creation of new publications and adaptation of existing ones to this new context. From a selection of current scientific journals in the field of geography, the article analyzes the main features and its Open Access policy, both with regard to the publication of content in the magazine (Gold way) and the access policy are discussed self-archiving in repositories (Green way). This establishes the current status of the Open Access policy of the Spanish academic journals in the field of geography.Downloads
