The Guarani Aquifer System in the electronic databases of scientific papers

This article analyzed the main scientific publications on the Guarani Aquifer System (SAG in Portuguese) presented by searches in Portuguese, Spanish and English in the following electronic databases of research: Google Scholar, Capes and Scopus. The research identified the origin of each item and the subject area of concentration of each study to determine the geographic scope and the prevailing scientific approach regarding the SAG. They were also created a word cloud in each language. The result shows a predominance of Brazilian science in the production of knowledge about the SAG and prevalence of hydrogeological and physicochemical approaches at the expense of other disciplines.Downloads
