The increasing availability of Internet resources on Geography has been completed in recent years with the launch of Geographic Information Systems on the net or SIGWEB. Up to the present times, online resources for teaching Geography were virtual globes or on-line maps. However, there was a lack of a proper educational resource for teaching geography in secondary education base don GIS, available on the net, structured as the school curriculum and open to remaking digital mapping. Digital Atlas for Schools incorporates all these technological and educational capabilities, also allowing students to begin in GIS and Project-Based Learning Learning (web-based GIS learning and GIScience).Downloads
