The digital gap and its relationship with the social gap. Public policy in the colombian case

The incorporation of information technology and communications (TIC) in the present world, raises questions about the impact it has caused, positive for some and negative for others, in different aspects of politics, economy, culture, education and society in general. This article explores the relationship between two concepts, the digital gap and the social gap, and encourages the reader to reflect about different points of view under which these concepts and possible mirroring in society are intertwined. In addition it raises the key elements which from the Colombian public policy are developed to reduce the digital and social gap in this country.Downloads
