The Solidarity Economy, as a new social praxis focused on community work, self-management, reciprocal relations and the equitable distribution of benefits -therefore, a comprehensive development model, differentiated and alternative to capitalist logic-, has been the object of study by many researchers. This article aims to rescue the most relevant contributions, emphasizing both their concepts and dynamics, as well as their perspectives towards a more resilient local-regional development. It is organized into three sections, and starts with a brief examination of the socioeconomic situation in which the Solidarity Economy arose, to then elaborate an analysis of its concepts and socio-labour and territorial perspectives in the face of the neoliberal economy. In this line of reasoning, it is underlined how this human, economic and environmental "other rationality" can be transformed into a mechanism that regenerates the current very deteriorated social tissue and, a rational alternative to uncertainty, since it expands our resilience and overcoming capacity against to the frequent crises to which we are exposed.
