Acreditación teórica del tercer cine en Chile

This paper evaluates the origin of Third Cinema and its massification as a film theory. It also analyses the moment in which the term lost its cohesion to the point of academic discredit, to then become revitalised in recent decades as memory and communication 2.0 tools. Finally it considers the Chilean cinematography as an example of the term’s validity, thus becoming an accreditation of Third Cinema for Chile, which serves to approach this theory worldwide.Downloads
