Abstract

In the film that takes for title Musarañas (Esteban Roel y Juanfer Andrés, 2014), the shades of the francoism past come alive, a few shades that chase the Montse `s conscience and provoke that she developed some bloody performances with those enter in her den. In a home, where she coexists with her small sister, submitted to its blows if she doesn´t obey her orders. Nevertheless, she is 18 years old of age, but Montse considers that she is still a girl and denies information about mother of them. Although in the end, her little sister will descover a portrait, the way in which we will meet to real mother. This way, this article focuses on the presence of the photography, what supposes a study element, important for the argument, because it works like substitute of the word, like route of confession of a complex secret to transmit, the possible incest that goes with it.
