Una Odisea sin su Ulises. La serie Sin límites (Simon West, 2022)

Abstract

With regard to the premiere on Amazon Prime of the miniseries Sin Límites, the first trip around the world is contextualized, critically evaluating the film based on its cinematographic achievements and weaknesses, and its relationship with similar fictional films is established. Its fidelity to historical sources and its failure as a cultural product of mass consumption for the population are also analyzed, as well as the resounding absence in the cinematographic story of an authentic hero of historical epic.
