Abstract

Paul McCartney, a living legend of pop history, and producer Rick Rubin, jointly review the repertoire of The Beatles and McCartney's various solo projects. Rubin raises and lowers tracks on the Neve console to show the architecture of pieces that have become masterpieces of music pop. The documentary reaches memorable moments when they unravel the different layers of the songs and the emotion that nests in them.

ENRIQUE TORRAS

Es licenciado en filología hispánica y profesor de secundaria en un instituto de Sabadell. Además de colaborar en revistas especializadas como El Submarí groc y realizar charlas sobre el grupo de Liverpool, ha escrito los libros A hard day´s night: 1964, en lo más alto de lo alto (2016), Beatles for sale, el éxito de todos mis fracasos (2017), Help! La eclosión del pop (2019) y Rubber Soul, la cuadratura del círculo (2021). Tiene en preparación volúmenes sobre Revolver y sobre el productor George Martin.
