LAS VÍCTIMAS DE ETA EN EL CINE DE LOS AÑOS OCHENTA EN TORNO AL TERRORISMO EN EL PAÍS VASCO

Abstract

Based on the idea that films are witnesses and agents of History, we propose a journey through the cinema of the eighties about terrorism in the Basque Country from the perspective of the representation of the victims of ETA. It is found that, although some steps forward were taken, the representation was poor and unbalanced. The victims of ETA had little presence, especially in comparison with those who suffered violence at the hands of the police forces.
