EL EROTISMO EN EL FANTATERROR ESPAÑOL (1962-1977), UNA VISIÓN GENERAL

Abstract

The fantaterror films, made during the sixties and seventies in Spain, are characterized by their violence and the exploitation of the female body for commercial purposes. My main objective is to study the erotic elements present in some of the most important titles of this subgenre –from its beginning in 1962 until the establishment of the S classification in 1977– to discern a possible evolution of the erotic elements and point out the socio-political causes of said process.
