NO-DO was the most important propaganda-audiovisual medium of Franco's regime, as it reported on different topics, one of them being education. In this article we are going to focus on the Secondary School. The main objective is to analyse what was shown in NO-DO about the High School from 1943 to 1975. For this purpose, all the news items, documentaries and reports from the five sections of NO-DO that deal with this educational stage have been viewed and selected: Noticiarios, Documental en Blanco y Negro, Documental en Color, Revista Imágenes and Imágenes del Deporte. The results obtained have been contextualised with primary and secondary sources. In short, NO-DO transmitted an image of the Baccalaureate centred on the inauguration of secondary schools and on showing the visits of authorities to these centres.
