Issue 12 in open access

This issue of Matèria, whose pages were dedicated to the memory of Frederic-Pau Verrié (1920–2017), a former lecturer in the Universitat de Barcelona’s Department of Art History, focused on Gothic tapestry and painting and the iconography of Saint Matrona of Barcelona in modern times, and included articles about two distinct but noteworthy companies that emerged during the Catalan art movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: Catalana de Electricidad’s Vilanova power plant and the Teatre de Natura (Theatre of Nature).
