A New Issue of Matèria is been published.
This double issue of Matèria is published in memory of Joaquim Garriga, a strong personality who influenced the configuration of our Department. He will be missed both for his personal contributions and his proven ability to revitalize our studies to a wider scope, which transcended his own research work. Besides the in memoriam dedications, here we present no less explicit dedications in the form of articles, which have come together to adress art of the modern period, despite facing at the same time aspects related to contemporary art that, as we well know, had intrigued and interested him, in the same way as good cinema or good literature.
