Marcel Duchamp: crítica de la significación. Lo posible y el estilo
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present a study of Marcel Duchamp’s work relating it to aesthetic thought which is integrated into a more general reflection on the foundations of culture, mainly from a linguistic point of view, whose foremost representatives were F. Nietzsche and M. Heidegger. Marcel Duchamp transforms art into the most suitable medium in order to realize a critic of signification, centring all his efforts on this borderline where the emergence of meaning happens. It is there, in the gap between the pure possibility and the representation, where the paradox between creativity and style should be solved; and it is there where Marcel Duchamp places the starting point of contemporary awareness.Downloads
