Abstract

The following article makes references to a brief essay by Marcel Proust Sur la lecture, a prologue to a series of lectures by John Ruskin and traslated by himself. This essay highlights the influences and disagreements within the English-critic, which is a starting point for an approach to what is known as Proustian Style.
