30. Sovereignism in the Age of Unsovereignty. The emergence of the Catalan sovereign people: a discursive and performative perspective

En aquest article es pretén emmarcar el moviment independentista català com a moviment populista de resposta a la crisi de la democràcia volàtil a l’era de la insobirania. Així, es defensarà la tesi del sorgiment d’un nou subjecte polític poble que articula la independència com a significant buit capaç d’unificar les demandes heterogènies nacionals i socials derivades de la crisi. Per fer-ho, s’analitzaran les diferents performances esdevingudes al territori català des del 2010 fins al 9-N, i es donarà a aquesta eina de la comunicació política un rol central en el procés de nominació contingent del subjecte poble.
