Changes in territorial, conceptual and methodological consideration of natural risks

Abstract

Last decade has been present an important changes in the territorial, conceptual and methodological consideration of natural risks. Conceptual horizon of risk has been extended by the appearance of new expressions that complete the integral vision that is necessary to grant in risk analysis. There have appeared directives and laws that protect the incorporation of risk studies in the territorial processes; and an opportune change has taken place, likewise, in the consideration of the measurements to adopt for the mitigation of the risk, where the territorial sostenibilidad is given priority. And all this, in the frame of the current climatic change by greenhouse effect that supposes a new uncertainty of slightly favorable effects for the human being.
