Abstract

The present work is a reflection based on production data involving teachers and students from three years of High School, focused on citizenship that considers three basic questions aimed at the understanding about education for citizenship formation. The concept of citizenship, the opportunity to be taught in school and the samples were analyzed considering the wider context of research involving other schools, and in view of the discussions to analyze texts on citizenship of authors who argue on the subject. The basis for considered concepts allows you to make the entanglement between the local and the global, are the concepts of place, and everyday citizens, from the perspective of multi schooling. It rises as a significant focus on the finding that citizenship is not neutral and not a concept to be understood, but a daily exercise which is based on ethics.
