Second residence tourism in the rural inland of Spain

Abstract

Tourist Investigations has been generally linked to the types of tourist flow from the definition of tourism that the World Tourism Organization defines. The tourist has a movement and a payment for overnight stays. This conception of tourism prevailing today makes certain manifestations of tourism is not included in official statistics, as the second residence or the return. Lack of data creates an extra problem for the research, the quantification and the valuation as a type of tourism. In rural inland of Spain with a high rural exodus is very important the impact for municipalities.
