Abstract

Gentrification processes have important social and spatial meaning and, therefore, it is critical to understand present city changes and restructuring. The aim of this paper is to identify the approaches to the study of gentrification in Spanish research throughout the last decade. Bibliometric analysis of the articles about this subject, published in the high impact Spanish Social Sciences and Geography journals provides information about the amount and the scope of the existing research on gentrification.
