Proposal for changes in the international migration concept

Abstract

This paper is founded in Data about international migration, with special attention given to Spain. The purpose is to discovered the limits of the definition of data, so as to do a good interpretation of indicators. The central question is nationality and place of birth and the fact that native born also make international migration. The major hypotheses about this question are: 1) nationality and international migration are not the same concepts and data doesn't include the same cases; 2) spaniards are born in and out the space of the State. 3) Foreign can also be borned inside, and not necessarily out. As conclusion, some recommendations expressed the limits of data and indicators.
