Abstract

Description of an experiment of a project of nourishment education, developed by professional volunteers from health field, in small villages of the Planalto Médio Gaúcho (in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), together with groups of rural workers. Considering the rural worker as a consumer as well, it becomes important to bring them to reflect about a critical consumption of food as new instrument of organization and solidarity between people.
