Abstract

Last months, many countries of the European Union - like Spain, France, Italy, Germany or Austria - have stretched the application of their migratory politics. This change in the migratory politics has been implemented by increasing the border controls in order to prevent the clandestine immigrants' entry. Consequently, both mafias that are illegally dealing with persons and immigrants arriving at their own are searching for new ways of entry within countries and not being discovered. Traditional ways of entry are the classical situations among the years and they are: boats (pateras) crossing the Strait of Gibraltar; ships passing along the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coasts; international airports; European roads and motorways. This paper is trying to show, by a media analysis, changes produced last year.
