Vocational guidance: history, resources and foresight of “professional orientation seminar” at the University of Barcelona, Spain
Abstract
This article synthetises the nine seminaries on vocational guidance celebrated, from 2001, for the Department of Methods of Investigation and Diagnosis in Education of the University of Barcelona, Spain. These Seminaries count on the voluntary collaboration of the teaching staff of the faculty of Pedagogy and research grup TRALS of investigation on transitions.The Seminar is directed by Mª Luisa Rodriguez-Moreno chair on Vocational Guidance, with contributions of diverse educative institutions of Catalonia. The general objective of the Permanent Seminary is to connect the functions of the career development, from different perspectives, instrumental scopes and elements with the abilities and competencies that the counselors will have to own to exert the corresponding tasks.
