The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has been increased as a teaching tool in recent decades, to schools. On the Geography, Geographic Information Technology (GIT) has been extended despite the fact that they are not technologies made for teaching and they may have an important educational use. However, teachers and students surveyed said that their use is not widespread, although it is potentially a fantastic teaching tool.
