Genome editing with therapeutic purposes
Abstract
Genome editing has the potential to cure diseases by disrupting endogenous disease-causing genes, correcting disease causing mutations or inserting new genes with protective functions. This could be easy and very useful using CRISPR/Cas9 methodology.
