Abstract
El benestar animal s’entén com la manera en què es tracta a un animal durant la seva vida per tal que no se li causi un dolor o una mort innecessària. Els defensors del benestar creuen que utilitzar els animals és moralment correcte, que els podem fer servir per beneficiar-nos, que els interessos dels humans sempre són més importants que els dels animals i per últim, que els hem de tractar de la manera més natural i humana que ens convingui.
