Acentos en el español: un corpus de conversación
Abstract
In this work the rules proposed for the accentual hierarchy were studied experimentally: the trisyllabic paroxytone pattern (2 + 1 + 3), the tetrasyllabic paroxytone pattern (2 + 3 + 1 + 3), the oxytone pattern (2 + 3 + 1) and the proparoxytone pattern (1 + 3 + 2). The production of a speaker was analyzed in the conversation of three interactants, the dialect was the Buenos Aires Spanish. Temporal and tonal data of the syllables were calculated. The results showed the accentual hierarchy of the primary accent, isochrony and similar F0 values in non primary accents, final lengthening and non systematic tonal patterns in that position. Findings were contrary to the prosodic alternation in this language.
