The analysis of the 25 April revolution from the point of view of historical studies in Spain has an exceptional reference in the work of Josep Sánchez Cervelló, who approaches it from an interest in the comparison with Spain and the possible influence in the fall of other dictatorships. He also studies the subsequent process of independence of the colonies and possible irradiations in other African countries.
