Following on from the previous article on specialist libraries published in the 2016 Yearbook, the current article focuses on a smaller but significant sector, the specialist libraries of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The work carried out by these libraries and their overall situation during the period 2016-2019 are described. As noted in the previous article, the glass remains half full and half empty; there have been important cooperative initiatives and projects, but the lack of a formal structure remains an endemic drawback.
