The situation of school libraries in 2018-2019 was already a matter of concern. The global Covid-19 pandemic had a negative impact on a great many areas, and school libraries were no exception. The article provides an overview of the situation of school libraries in the 2020-2021 period based on official published data. It lists the publications, activities and training carried out, often marked by the changes caused by the pandemic. Finally, the articles, monographs and doctoral theses presented are reviewed and the future prospects of school libraries in Catalonia are discussed.
