Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyse the bioethics training situation in sixth year medical students from the University of Barcelona, belonging to the class of 2011.
Using the case of euthanasia and the end of life as an example that generates controversy and concerns the society, we have assessed the knowledge of the students, where have they acquired these, the perception they have of their training and what would be their level of involvement as future professionals in a possible debate on the subject.
Following is our hypothesis, the materials and methods used, and the analysis of the results, accompanied by an assessment of how they can contribute to the improvement of the education in ethics of the medical students.
