The right to dispose of the in vitro embryo in the case-law of the ECtHR

A study of the case-law of the ECtHR shows that there is a right to reproductive autonomy from which we can deduce a series of rights: to generate embryos in vitro, to resort to preimplantation genetic diagnosis to select children without a hereditary disease, to revoke consent for the implantation of embryos and to use them for scientific research.
