Built environment, inclusive design and youth participation’s experiences
Abstract
Youth participation in town planning processes constitutes now an emergent area of work and research. Nevertheless, at the present there are different experiences and international programs that can be useful devices for this field’s professionals (architects, sociologists, town planners and managers) in order to add youth perspective (particular needs and wishes, specific judgments) in the design of the built environment. In the following text we show a commented selection of initiatives and projects carried out in different countries about town and youth matters in reference to their practical contributions, cultural proximity and the possibilities of using them in town planning process.Downloads
