The Association ‘No Jubilem la Memoria’ was formed in the village of Marcà in 2003 with the aim of recovering the history of the II Republic and the Spanish Civil War (1931-39) in the Priorat. The group was initially started as a collaboration between people of two areas in the province of Tarragona —El Priorat and the Concà de Barbara— who came together through their interest in the presence of the International Brigades in this region during the Spanish Civil War…………..
