Dones i terres catalanes medievals is a long-term study, in the area of Old and New Catalonia in the Middle Ages. Women are mostly women with power: first the feminae, then the dominae. A power that is apparent in the assumption of male policies, but at the same time, exudes authority, reflected in female policies. The main objective, then, has been to reflect on the role of women in the Catalan countryside from the tenth to thirteenth centuries.
The methodology used is typical of feminist historical research, in addition to the classical empirical methods: archival data collection, systematization, treatment, comparison, and presentation of results. As for the state of the bibliographic issue, there are no references to the time and the chosen optics, so this analysis was built on the basis of primary archival sources.
